Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept debit & credit card payment including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Solo. You may send your card information via phone, fax, post or over the Internet.
If you would like to pay by cheque or postal order please email your order to us at sales@acpackaging.co.uk and we will in turn send you a pro-forma invoice. Once we have received your cheque and it has cleared we will despatch your goods. |
Shipping And Handling DELIVERIES
All orders are sent via a courier or Royal Mail.
Please note that your order will be delivered between 8am and 5.30pm. Therefore, please ensure that there is a responsible person available at your stated delivery address between these hours. Both our courier company and Royal Mail will require a signature so if you will not be available to take delivery please advise when you place your order of a neighbour who can sign for the goods on your behalf. If redelivery has to be attempted you will incur an additional charge (50% of original shipping cost) before your order can be delivered. This charge will be applicable for each failed delivery. After 3 failed delivery attempts, the goods will automatically be returned to AC Packaging Co Ltd and you will need to pay a further carriage charge to re-deliver the goods.
Please fully check the contents of your delivery before signing with our courier to confirm receipt. Mistakes cannot be rectified unless noted at the point of accepting your delivery.
SHIPPING RATES EXPLAINED
All orders placed before 3pm (Mon-Fri) within UK Mainland are sent the same day on a standard next working day service, so you know when to expect them. For example: If you placed an order at 2pm on Tuesday you should receive your order on Wednesday.
Orders placed after 3pm will be despatched the following working day.
Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday through to 3pm Monday will be despatched on the Monday.
Orders placed over a bank holiday or during our Christmas shutdown period will be despatched on the first working day back. (Christmas order processing dates will be available on our site from November).
Please note: Our next working day delivery service is not guaranteed as parcels can on rare occassions get misrouted/lost during transit. Also, whilst we work hard to minimise any stock shortgages, there may be occassion where an item is temporarily out of stock. In this instance we will contact you to advise of any delay and an anticipated delivery date.

Unlike many other companies we don't add the cost of shipping onto our product prices in order to offer free delivery options. Instead, we keep our product prices low and give you the option to collect from our North West warehouse (based in Bury, Lancs) for FREE. VOLUMETRIC CHARGING
For larger items like bubble wrap, foam etc, we have to not only take into account the weight of the product but also the size. The reason for this is quite straightforward: if courier companies charged by weight alone, and had no other way of calculating a price, their vehicle could be filled with a consignment that is very light (for example, 6 rolls of bubble wrap). This would mean a whole vehicle would be dedicated to just 6 rolls of bubble wrap, so is not cost-effective for the courier. As such all carriers have imposed volumetric charges where they assign a heavier weight to an item to take account of it's dimensions. For example: a roll of 1500mm bubble wrap might be weighed in at around 60kg, despite it actually weighing a fraction of this, so the shipping cost would be higher for a roll of bubble wrap. This can mean that the delivery of such items is not as cheap as it would be for smaller products.
Please note though that you can pick up any item from our warehouse to avoid delivery charges all together. If you are placing a large order within the North Manchester area then we can also offer reduced delivery charges or even deliver for free using our own vehicle. The service offered in such an instance may not be next day.

| Returns Policy If you wish to return any item you can do so within 7 days of delivery. It must be returned in it's original, unopened condition. Only the item cost will be refunded and not postage. Customer also pays for returns carriage charge. If you are returning an item and we are a fault e.g. sent incorrect item, we will fully refund both sets of postage costs. |
